Martin : Rewind to November 10th, 2012: I am on my way to LoM colleague and friend Williams birthday party, as a passenger in a friends car. I have no influence whatsoever on the music in the car stereo, and do not intend to do something about it. Some fairly recent Cradle Of Filth album is thrown in. Yawn. It does feature a rerecording of Summer Dying Fast off the bands 1994 debut album. It reminds me that this fake and plastic, utterly clownesque and dreadfully overproduced abomination of a band used to be really great back in the days.

Old Corpse Road are a band initiated in 2007 with a lyrical theme inspired by British Folklore. Their first release was back in 2009 with the demo, The Echoes of Tales Once Told, before being offered a split release with The Meads of Asphodel in 2010.

Old Corpse Road is a Symphonic Black and Folk Metal band that was forged in the United Kingdom. Born in 2008, the five piece has issued a demo titled The Echoes of Tales Once Told in 2009, which was met with plenty of praise, as was their 2010 split recording The Bones of This Land Are Not Speechless / English Black Punk Metal with The Meads of Asphodel, which was issued through Godreah Records. For 2012, the band finds themselves working with that label once more, releasing their debut full-length effort, ‘Tis Witching Hour… As Spectres we Haunt this Kingdom.
